Income tax returns for the accounting year 1-4-2017 To 31-3-2018

Last date to file the return of income is 31st July 2018 ( except audit cases where last date is 30th September 2018 )

If return filed after 31st July 2018 but before 31st December 2018 then late fees of Rs. 5000/- will be levied.

If the return filed after 31st December 2018 but before 31st March 2019
Then late fees Rs. 10000/- will be levied.

Please file the return before due date.

Direct tax update :
From 1.4.17 income tax return cannot be filled after end assessment year.
I.e. two return cannot be filled in a year.
