The Story
As part of Chaolkhuwa campaign, we are organizing Chaolkhuwa river festival on the riverside in Barpeta since 1996, as a tribute to the Chaolkhwa River,the river of unity that has built history and identity of Assam.The underlying objective is to sensitize people on clean,creative,economic use of the riversides.
Run entirely by a group of passionate volunteers with very limited resources and even own expenses,it was set of just as one day activity and has now grown into a 7 day mega even.
