*Bombay Metal Exchange Ltd. Organizes Industry Seminar to Tackle Industry Issues*
Mumbai,- In a bid to address the challenges faced by the metal industry, Bombay Metal Exchange Ltd. organized an industry seminar, where experts and stakeholders discussed various regulatory issues and challenges. The seminar saw participation from industry leaders, policymakers, and experts from different departments.
The seminar was held in Powai and consisted of four sessions. The first session focused on Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) regulatory issues and challenges, moderated by Mahendra Mehta, with panelists including Ashish Wakle, Pinaki Gupta, Prajyot Dahikar, and Rajesh Agarwal.
The second session deliberated on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance, moderated by Dr. Sandeep Vakharia, with panelists including Sourabh Garg, Anupam Agnihotri, and Mayank Pareek.
The third session discussed Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Income Tax (IT) notices and compliances, moderated by Sandeep Jain, Chairman of BME, with panelists including Vikram Kulkarni, Abhishek Rastogi, MPS Sengar, and Vidyasagar Ubale.
The final session focused on Customs notices, FTA, bank guarantees, and clearance issues, moderated by Alpesh Munot, with panelists including Radheyshyam Sharma, Joseph Gouda Patil, Anil Balani, and Prateek Bansal.
On this occasion Rekhab Kothari,former President, Sushil Kothari, Atul Goyal, Director of the Association,Praveen Goyal Manish Jain, Mihir Parekh, Poojan Parekh and other dignitaries from industry were present in seminar.
The seminar aimed to provide a platform for industry stakeholders to discuss their concerns and find solutions to the challenges faced by the metal industry.
