As you might be aware of there are 3 different types of pension available today.

The first type is *Social Pension*, which government provides during Retirement years which may include cash payouts or free medical.
Social Pension in India is not available to majority of Population.

It is said that "You can either have excuses or results. But not both together".
Majority of people delay retirement planning due a number of reasons. With every stage of life there are different priorities. But it is important to understand that on retirement, excuses are completely useless whereas regular income is the only thing which matters.

Hence one should start planning for retirement as early as possible. Preferably at the beginning of career itself
so that even small amounts of regular saving can create huge corpus at retirement as the time horizon is long.
