Counter trend weakness in dollar largely done: Fundamentals will re-assert commodities trade
Sharp currency moves are mean-reverting as they influence the very fundamentals they reflect in the first place. Dollar moves henceforth will largely be guided by relative strength of the US economy – wage growth will be the focal point, in our view. Either way, crude/commodities’ fundamentals have little changed and will re-assert itself as the dollar trade unwinds.

We stay put arguing for economic recovery in H2FY16
Poor economic recovery so far reflects poor rural demand, relapse in exports and sharp squeeze in the government spending. We expect the government expenditure and higher real incomes to lead recovery in H2FY16. However, likelihood of poor monsoons (second year running) and associated risks with regards to monetary easing, pose downside risks to our forecast of 8% real GDP growth in FY16.
