What is TLO ? : A Teaching Learning Observation (TLO ) is a growth centered framework to observe the teaching learning process in a classroom. It is purely growth centered which means that the sole purpose is to help teachers grow. It is a quantitative way of recording and measuring teacher behavior by a systematic approach.

Why do we need TLO? : TLO gives teachers the opportunity to receive direct feedback about their practice. It also addresses the areas for improvement. Based on the TLO, the school can arrange individualized PDs for the teachers.
Overall it is a new concept in India.
