Geotechnical Project Manager
# # Job Summary
We are looking for a **Geotechnical Project Manager** to manage and supervise geotechnical field testing activities and ensure that all testing and soil investigation work is carried out accurately, safely, and according to project requirements.
# # Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise geotechnical field testing and site investigation activities.
* Conduct and supervise **Pile Load Tests** and ensure proper testing procedures are followed.
* Conduct and supervise **Plate Load Tests** for evaluation of soil bearing capacity.
* Perform **Field CBR (California Bearing Ratio) Tests** as per applicable standards and project specifications.
* Supervise and coordinate **soil sample collection** from project sites.
* Ensure proper identification, labeling, preservation, and transportation of soil samples.
* Maintain accurate field test records, observations, and site documentation.
* Coordinate with clients, site engineers, contractors, and laboratory teams.
* Monitor project progress and ensure field activities are completed within the required timelines.
* Ensure compliance with relevant **IS codes, testing standards, safety procedures, and project specifications**.
* Review field test results and assist in preparing technical reports and documentation.
* Manage field technicians and testing personnel as required.
* Identify field issues and coordinate with the technical team to resolve them effectively.
# # Required Qualifications
* **B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering**.
* Candidates with specialization or experience in **Geotechnical Engineering / Soil Testing** will be preferred.

* **Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.**
* Candidates with practical experience in geotechnical field testing will be preferred.
# # Required Field Testing Experience
Candidates should have knowledge or hands-on experience in:
1. **Pile Load Test**
2. **Plate Load Test**
3. **Field CBR Test**
4. **Soil Sample Collection**
# # Desired Skills
* Good knowledge of geotechnical field testing procedures.
* Ability to manage and coordinate site activities.
