Our journey in the rice business began in the early 1960s, when our family, led by my father, Late Debidutt Agarwal, migrated from a small village in Doors to Siliguri in North Bengal. He started this journey by launching a wholesale trading business in Siliguri. Within years, he established a successful trading house in the wholesale market of Siliguri covering the Doors region in North Bengal, a

djoining Bihar, Assam, Sikkim, and Nepal. With his growing knowledge and experience in business, he simultaneously operated a Rice Mill in Sansichare, Jhapa Anchal in Nepal for around 12 years. As we grew, we secured a stronghold in the rice markets of Doors, Bihar, Assam, Sikkim, and Nepal.
