It’s a cosy double storied two-bedroom beautiful mud house located at Renaissance Township, Burdwan, just off the Durgapur Expressway. Matir Bari has beautiful large Verandahs overlooking a lovely green township and the villages beyond. A kilometer or two drive will take you to the renovated Burdwan Zoo, Meghnad Saha Planetarium, Science Museum, 108 Temple, Sarbamangala Temple or the beautiful Krishna Sayer Lake. You can drive for an hour to reach Santiniketan. For people availing train, Burdwan Rly Stn is only 15 minutes away if you hire a toto or take the town service bus. এর প্রধান কারণ এই নয় যে মধু থাকবে না বলে মানুষ মরে যাবে বরং মৌমাছিরা পৃথিবীর 50% এর উপর গাছের পরাগ মিলনে সরাসরি ভাবে যুক্ত তাই মৌমাছিরা শেষ হয়ে গেলে পৃথিবীর 50% এর উপর গাছের বংশ বৃদ্ধি হবে না। তাই মাত্র 4 বছরেই পর্যাপ্ত অক্সিজেন ও খাদ্যের অভাবে মানুষ মারা যাবে।

🏡 মাটির বাড়ির সকাল আর এক কাপ চা ☕

মাটির বাড়ি হোম স্টে। ঠিক যেন গ্রাম বাংলার কোলে এক টুকরো শান্তি! এখানে সকালটা শুরু হয় সেই শান্তির মাঝেই।
চোখ খুলতেই চারপাশের মাটির গন্ধ, সঙ্গে সিঁদুরে রোদ এসে পড়েছে দাওয়ায়। শহরে অ্যালার্মের চিৎকারে ঘুম ভাঙে, আর এখানে ঘুম ভাঙে পাখির কিচিরমিচিরে।

ধোঁয়া ওঠা গরম চা হাতে নিয়ে বসুন বাসর লতার নিচে। চায়ে চুমুক দিতেই মনটা ভরে যাবে। চায়ের উষ্ণতা, মাটির সোঁদা গন্ধ, আর সামনে সতেজ সবুজের দৃশ্য... সত্যি! এই চায়ের স্বাদ আর গন্ধ, যা কোনো বিলাসবহুল হোটেলের কাপেও পাওয়া অসম্ভব।
এটাই তো জীবন! প্রকৃতির কাছাকাছি, মাটির কাছে থাকা। এই সাধারণ অথচ অসাধারণ সকালটা মনে থাকবে বহুকাল।

নীল আর সবুজ আমার পছন্দের দুই রং। সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠেই নীল ফুল দিয়ে ঘেরা বাগানের বেরা, morning excercise করতে করতে আর চা খেতে খেতে যতদূর চোখ যায় সবুজের সমারোহ, এখানে সেখানে অগোছালো ভাবে ফুটে থাকা orchid, জুঁইফুল, নাম না জানা আরও কত ফুল, বাসরলতার চাঁদোয়া…উফফ এসব একটা ভালো লাগা, ভালোবাসা যা বলে বোঝানো যায় না। শুধু feel করতে হয়। এমন ই একটা ছোট্ট আস্তানা Mair Bari। শুধু আমার নয়, আপনার ও ভালো লাগার, সময় কাটানোর আস্তানা হতেই পারে।
