🚨 SCAM ALERT | FRAUD AWARENESS FROM VIRAGOTECH 🚨
Recently, we received an order worth around ₹40,000. The customer sent us a payment screenshot claiming ₹90,000 had been transferred. Based on the screenshot, the parcel was initially dispatched.
Before allowing the shipment to proceed further, our team carefully verified the payment details. Later, another order came from a different phone number with another payment screenshot. During verification, we noticed something suspicious — the transaction ID shown in both screenshots was the same.
⚠️ We immediately cross-checked the claimed payments with our actual transaction records and identified that the screenshots did not represent two genuine payments. We contacted the logistics team immediately and stopped the parcel in transit.
We are sharing this experience to create awareness among other businesses:
✅ Never trust a payment screenshot alone.
✅ Verify that the money is actually credited to your bank/account before dispatch.
✅ Check the Transaction ID / UTR, amount, date and time carefully.
✅ Be extra cautious when the same or related orders come from different phone numbers.
✅ If anything looks suspicious, stop the shipment and verify first.
📢 A screenshot is NOT proof of payment. Verify the actual credit before handing over your products.
