Tamil Nadu Government has announced an **Additional State Subsidy** for eligible residential rooftop solar systems under the **PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana**.

💰 **Additional Tamil Nadu State Subsidy:**
🔹 Up to 1 kW – ₹5,000
🔹 Up to 2 kW – ₹10,000
🔹 3 kW & above – **₹22,000**

🏠 For **Domestic Consumers only**
📅 Applicable for consumers registered in the PM Surya Ghar portal from **05.08.2026**
💳 State subsidy will be transferred directly to the customer’s bank account through **DBT**.
