Given an opportunity, everyone tries to
seize the opportunity to overplay on the other party's weaknesses to win over a negotiation. On contrary to "thinking win-win" for both parties by truly appreciating each other strengths.

This holds true even in the startup scenario,
- investor goes home with more equity by undervaluing the startup
- founder overlooks team's/cofounder's contributions by underpaying/ delaying salary disbursements etc.
- recruiter taking advantage of personal history/commitments of the candidate to save a few quid for their company
