Our client, a hi-end restaurant, in Chennai, seeks a Head Chef to take forward their growth plans and establish themselves as a leader in this trade in the market.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of kitchen management.
Develop and implement new recipes and menus that are both innovative and profitable.
Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Manage food costs and inventory, ensuring that the restaurant operates within budget.
Work closely with the restaurant's management team to achieve overall business objectives.
Requirements:
A culinary degree or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef in a high-end restaurant.
Sound knowledge of Western cuisine.
Excellent presentation techniques.
A proven track record of developing new recipes.
Good leadership and team-building capabilities.
A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
