Position: DevOps Engineer
Location: Chennai
Roles And Responsibilities
• You would be responsible for the complete release management lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordination, and management of releases on number of Camera Products. The position will require daily collaboration with Development, Process Management and QA teams. You will assess and implement new tools, plugins, etc. that are necessary to improve the software release engineering process. You will manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.
• Ensure basic stability in the releases by running a basic test cycle. Bridging the QA team and Development team regarding scope of the releases. Understanding customer releases and communicating effectively with Production team regarding the release package and maintaining history of releases.
Key Requirements And Experience Include
• A good technical background in understanding of software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Continuous Integration & Delivery.

Knowledge And Experience In Build/Release Technology Such As
• · SCM Tools: Git, SVN,
• · Languages: C , C++ &
• · Scripting: Python & Shell script (Added advantage)
• · JiRA plugins & Confluence
• · Embedded software development cycle

Develop, deploy and maintain business applications developed in .Net
Proficient in S/W Development life cycle, Database Designing and Database creation
Proficient in writing clean, well-structured code with proper abstraction and reusability
Desired Candidate Profile

Hands on experience in developing .Net Applications
Strong programming skills in C #.Net
Experience in .Net, Web Applications.
Should have Experience in MVC, Web services, XML
Hands on experience of MS SQL, SQLite databases.
Good knowledge in Database and Optimized Query design
Understanding and handling tasks independently
Ability to manage pressure and take ownership
Debugging, troubleshooting and analytical skills
