I met her after 13 years today. was my schoolmate, we are in opposite sections.
I still remember us being the nerdy, introverted kids who refused to talk to each other even once during our school days. But today we walked and talked for three hours straight.
Jessy was an example of how much people change in a decade. Right from the beginning it never felt like I was meeting her after such a long time. She talked as if we were in touch till last week. Where did that introverted girl who refused to take a chocolate on my b'day go?
Oh, I wish I can tell my younger self all this and ask him to be more open and free. Since I can't, I remind my present me to be - open and free. Life is a lot better this way.
During our walk and talk, I also learned that when people experience pain, we expect them to talk about their pain. But sometimes, what they need is a fresh air to breathe, a conversation where they can forget all their pain and feel better. I hope this one was a fresh air for her.
Let's walk and talk?
