I met her after 13 years today. was my schoolmate, we are in opposite sections.

I still remember us being the nerdy, introverted kids who refused to talk to each other even once during our school days. But today we walked and talked for three hours straight.

Jessy was an example of how much people change in a decade. Right from the beginning it never felt like I was meeting her after such a long time. She talked as if we were in touch till last week. Where did that introverted girl who refused to take a chocolate on my b'day go?

Oh, I wish I can tell my younger self all this and ask him to be more open and free. Since I can't, I remind my present me to be - open and free. Life is a lot better this way.

During our walk and talk, I also learned that when people experience pain, we expect them to talk about their pain. But sometimes, what they need is a fresh air to breathe, a conversation where they can forget all their pain and feel better. I hope this one was a fresh air for her.

Let's walk and talk?

A walk and talk with a curious talker named V who came up with a lot of questions and compliments. V being such a great listener, this turned out to be a Walk and Talk where I talked more than I used to.

It was quite surprising to meet someone with a similar mole to the one I have on my chin. We could recollect a lot of people's comments on such a weird cm lucky mole. That's one more reason I needed to post this pic 😄

For a girl of her age, she has gone through a lot and keeps on striving to build her up as wonderfully as possible. We spent time watching children skate, reading a heart-touching mail, becoming more self-aware with deep conversation and sipping water as our mouths went dry.

"What will the older version of me think when I look back at life?" is a question that we both ponder about. When we look back at this, it would be a good memory to begin with.

Let's make memories? Come walk and talk.

A walk and talk that felt like watching the '96' movie. Amithap could visit his childhood and tell me his story so vividly and so passionately during our 2.5 hours of walking and talking.

"Just like our pet, we can't discard our memories too. Because without refugee in us, they can't survive," said Amithabh. This guy spoke many profound thoughts like these.

There are different ways to communicate without getting caught during school days, out of all those the way he used the wodden desk to write few words using a steel scale stood as the best one I knew.

By rewinding his live we talked about little mischiefs, art of making bits, why engineering degree, love for cinema, books being a rescuer and the smell of your loved one among many others.

We couldn't stop talking as we continued it by sitting and eating. In the end, I could see him become lighter and happy.  What's more to ask for?

Come, let's walk and talk.

Sometimes it's quite hard to accept but even our close friends go through moments of emotional turmoil that we're not aware of. I realized this during the walk and talk with

In such emotional situations, all a person yearns for is a listening ear...which unfortunately few people don't get. That hurts bad leaving with a feeling of loneliness and questions like, "Why nobody is there for me?"

During our walk, we talked a lot about family, friends, confusion, self-esteem, love and life - indepth that we don't normally talk about. It was one of those talks that feels like hugs. I knew he loved the whole experience from the satisfaction on his face.

Whether you're a friend, acquaintance, or a stranger, if you want to talk, let's meet on Sundays.📍Chennai

[Late Post] A Walk and Talk that happened unanticipatedly with the doctor amid the tea gardens of Bagdogra, West Bengal.

He was a person I met during my travel. With a few unforeseen incidents that happened, we had to stay together for 3x of the days we planned. And I came to know him (and his story) like I was his best friend and a brother combined. A unique bond I would say.

As a doctor and a avid traveller, he has so many things to share - from what medicines to take for motion sickness to which places to visit in Megalaya.

Like every walk and talk, we slowly drifted to the dephts of our being. We talked about what we don't intend to talk otherwise. We let things out as it felt good. The serenity of the place added its own touch to our walk.

Thank you Suhaib for this memorable moment before we bid our adieu. Thanks for inspiring me in your own ways.

A wonderful start after a long pause with the talker I was a bit hesitant to start Walking and Talking at a new place but the new location seems to be great.

Priya is an example of the fact that books can be a major support to make a person's life better. Facing many hardships as a child, she always found refuge between the pages of books she read.

She says that she is an introvert. As a listener, is there a better combo than a bookworm and an introvert for hearing great stories? It was a kind of experience walking and talking beside her.

She has a writer inside her and hopefully, someday a child would read her words and find his/her life worth living.

That's a sketchbook in her hand, and she draws whenever something is heavy. Yes, art is so healing. If you're feeling down try drawing a rainbow, you'll feel good (personal suggestion).

If you're interested in walking and talking, leave a message. Let's do it!

A walk and talk with a standup comedian (and more)

I have seen him on a stage making people laugh, but it was a very different thing to walk and talk beside him. And I enjoyed it to the last extent.

He showed me behind the screens of a standup comedian. Making people laugh is a very underrated skill.

We all witness the 10-15 minutes of a comedy and move on to the next. But the hard work behind every minute is huge.

Next time, when we come across a comedian, let's try to empathize with them.

We spoke a lot more about one of his recent short film "Oosal", documentaries, books, persona, space, fantastic fungi, philosophy, society, life in general and many things in between.

For a brief moment, I forgot my surroundings and it kinda felt like I was somewhere else.

For such experiences, why not come for a walk and talk?

Today I was surprised to know that I would be walking and talking with two people - and Mr Happy. (I prefer to call him by that nickname).

Usually, people come together, drop the talker and leave or wait till the Walk and Talk is over. But today it was different. They both had already planned to set a new trend. And it happened wonderfully.

The reason it worked wonderfully is that they both are each other's go-to person as friends, partners, entrepreneurs, advisers, well-wishers, travel companions and whatnot.

The talkers said they came prepared to this walk and talk to share certain things and they admitted they spoke all their heart out. (That's what gives me the most happiness).

They are venturing into a new path - a road not taken by many others. Ready to face the challenges and go all the way, I wished for another walk and talk to listen to their success stories in the future.

Do you have something to share? Come, let's walk and talk.

A walk and talk that had macro-level communication with the talker that went on for hours, with rain drizzling upon us, providing a serene feel.

I learnt from the talker that you need not do great things to be happy, you can do small things in a great way. For example, blood donation and forming a circle of people who are willing to donate.

The efforts he takes for strangers when they are most in need will go a long way...and comes back to him manifold.

Being an only child is not very easy as people stereotype it to be. At the same time getting a few people who fill up that space of a sibling is something to grateful for.

A wonderful walk and talk with lots of positivity and gratefulness in it.

Walk and Talk is not just to share your sorrows or problems, you can also share your blessings, happy moments and unforgettable memories.

Come let's walk and talk!

A wonderful walk and talk with a teacher that I (and many other students) look up to. I wasn't lucky enough to be in his class, but I am grateful that I had a very personal moment walking and talking with this young man (not kidding),

Today's class was outside the four walls and the syllabus was life, death, love, friendship, travel, passion, money, writing, and experiences...a lot of experiences that only a wise man can share.

He was like a well of knowledge that you can always take something from him, on different subject matters. There was so much learning for me.

I always wondered how would someone who is a bit elder (physically) would feel after a walk and talk. Today, I knew it from his words. He said, "I feel young again."

Thank you so much for coming to this walk and talk; and supporting the initiative.  It means a lot. You are an inspiration!

And fellas...it's a 50. Yep, 50th Walk and Talk.

Thankful for all those people who made it happen. And thanks in advance to those people who are yet to come and experience it.

Tonight's Walk and Talk with the talker made me realize (once again) that people are incomprehensible. We can never judge them. If we do, we are more likely to be wrong.

We had a wonderful time walking and talking on the uncrowded pavement of Racecourse which the talker was visiting for the first time.

There was so much depth in what he spoke, the turn of events, the sudden life change, lessons learnt, brave acts, hope, sacrifices, and lots of inspiring personal experiences.

We think people are how we perceive them to be. But we never know their story, and how much something has affected them. We never know the reasons for what they do and why they do it.

All we can do is, be kind. And if you can, listen without judgement.

Walking and talking with someone who does business is a bit tricky with the number of phone calls they get now and then. I realized this today when I walked and talked with

We meet lots of wonderful people during our life, especially during our twenties. They have a crucial role in our lives in ways nobody can imagine.

But life happens and we lose touch with them. What if you take an effort to meet them and have an hour or two walking and talking with them?

That's what happened today. And it is so wholesome. I wish everybody who reads this, take an effort to meet such people in their lives.

It might be an old friend, a teacher, your first boss or any person who added value to your life in some way. Have a good conversation with them, in person. Thank me later.

This walk and talk was all about how life changed in these years, how much we outgrew ourselves, what has to be done hereafter and remembering those people who changed our perceptions to make us who we are today.

"Walk and talk is very nice, but it would have been more helpful to me if something like this was there a few years ago when I had a tough time", said the talker.

I could feel the depth in those words. If there is something for you to open up, you are welcome. Let's walk and talk.
