What does the future of Chennai look like to you? More green cover, less waterlogging, or maybe just a city that doesn’t melt us into the pavement by April? 🌊✍️☀️

As part of Climate Week ’26 India, we’re putting pen to paper (yes, actual paper!) for Letters for Change: a cozy, participatory event where we gather to reflect, rant, dream, and write about Chennai’s climate future.

No boring lectures or long presentations here. Just handwritten letters, fun creative activities, and good conversations about how we can shape a cooler, more resilient, and livable city together. Bring your big ideas, your local neighbourhood grievances, or simply your love for Chennai.

✍️ About the host:
Krithiga Narayanan is an environmental journalist and policy researcher exploring climate adaptation, democratic governance, and community resilience. Her reporting has appeared in BBC World Service, Deutsche Welle (DW), and CNN, alongside work with Internews’ Earth Journalism Network. She holds Master’s degrees in International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS and International Journalism from City, University of London.
