✨ “Location, Location, Location” — it’s the first advice most people hear when starting a restaurant or café. But is it always true?

I’ve worked on projects where outlets in “prime” high-street locations shut down within a year. And I’ve also seen cafés hidden in quiet neighborhoods grow into city landmarks.

The difference wasn’t the address. It was the concept, consistency, and experience. Guests don’t just look for convenience anymore—they want identity, connection, and a reason to come back.

That’s why feasibility studies, strong concepts, and a focus on guest experience matter as much (if not more) than rent and visibility.

So yes, location plays a role—but it’s not the whole story. With the right idea and ex*****on, success can be found even “off the map.”
