Bollywood star Sunny Leaone , who also happens to be the most searched Indian celebrity online, was the center of attraction at the launch of Aprilia superbikes outlet in Bangalore. Tuono Motors, the Karnataka Dealership of Aprilia and Moto Guzzi Motorcycles (a division of Piaggio motors) announced the launch of its first outlet in Bangalore in presence of Sunny Leone.

Aprilia and Moto Guzzi have been in India for some time now and are in the process of expanding their reach across the country. The third dealership in India has come up in Bangalore and is located at Residency Road. The new dealership will cater to the entire range of both brands and is spread across a massive showroom where both these exotic Italian brands will be seen rubbing shoulders with each other.

Aprilia and Moto Guzzi top quality and high range motorcycles are priced in a range of INR 14-23 lakhs and to mark the opening of the new showroom, a special launch party was organized at the Sheraton Gateway. Attended by prospective customers and business associates, the event saw a number of attendees book their bikes well in advance. It was Bollywood actress Sunny Leone who unveiled the bikes and it was she who also handed over the keys to the lucky set of first owners present at the launch party.

The bikes on offer will include Aprilia’s RSV4, Tuono, Caponord, Dorsoduro 1200, Mana 850, and SRV 850. The Moto Guzzi range will include Moto Guzzi 1400 California Touring, Moto Guzzi 1400 California Custom and Moto Guzzi Griso 8V.

Jeep has revealed plans to showcase a limited edition Wrangler Polar at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, which gets off to a flying start from September 10, 2013. This special edition is based on Wrangler Unlimited model and will be seen with an exterior painted a fresh Hydro Blue while interiors will be in all black.

Jeep Wrangler Polar Limited Edition will receive 18” glossy black rims and a Hydro Blue hard top with Mopar accessories. To be sold both as a two and four door model, Wrangler Polar will receive a 2.8 liter CRD turbodiesel engine offering 200 HP at 3,600 rpm and 460 Nm torque at 1,600 to 2,600 rpm. The engine will be mated to a five speed automatic gearbox. There is also an option of mating the engine to a six speed manual which will see output at 200 HP and 410 Nm between 2,600 and 3,200 rpm. A V6 3.6 liter gasoline engine will also be on offer which will be capable of 284 HP and 347 Nm torque when mated to a five speed automatic gearbox.

Features will include cruise control, heated front seats and automatic climate control while the model will live upto its name as it gears itself for extreme weather conditions at the Antarctic where absolute severest temperature was recorded at -89.2° C. This is the new Porsche LMP1 race car

Porsche has gone ahead and released a batch of polished photos of the company's new LMP1 race car. The machine is set to officially bow next year for the 2014 World Endurance Championship series as Porsche tries to take the overall win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car has already undergone on-track testing. The closed-roof machine boasts a number of design elements that will look familiar to Audi and Toyota fans, including the long, tall dorsal fin and thin, vertical LED tail lamps mounted to the rear wing's uprights.

The LMP1 class has seen a recent swell in competition as organizers and regulations put an emphasis on efficiency as well as speed. Toyota has stepped up its efforts in the class with its hybrid LMP1 machine, and Porsche's commitment to hybrid performance would make a similar drivetrain an obvious choice. Porsche hasn't announced driveline specifics just yet, but the company's arrival on the grid next year will signal the start of an interesting sibling rivalry between that brand and its corporate litter mate and Le Mans powerhouse, Audi.

Tata Motors have introduced the new Safari Storme Explorer Edition. On display at all Tata Motor showrooms, under the ‘Horizonext’ banner, the SUV is seen as an ideal outdoor travelling companion with state of the art features and in vehicle technology adding to its appeal.

On the exterior, the Safari Storme Explorer gets a compass on its bonnet and on the side of the car while head and tail lamps receive a chrome finish. Distinctive Explorer badging is evident on front fenders while a new front nudge guard is also added.
Packed with features which include a new Blaupunkt 2-DIN touchscreen infotainment system, sporty door visors and leather upholstered seating demands attention in its interiors. Other features which make this vehicle an ideal companion on the highway are the options that come with the SUV in the form of cycle carrier, cargo basket and roof mounted canopy.

Powered by a Safari Storme 2.2 liter VariCOR turbocharged engine with VTT, the engine is capable of offering 140 PS power and 320 Nm torque. Boasting of best in class turning circle radius of 5.4 meters also adds to its better drivability on highway while it has a ground clearance of 200mm with 26 degree gradeability. Tata Safari Storme Explorer Edition comes in at a starting price of INR 10,86,000.
