At our MODSIM Conference, hosted in collaboration with Dassault Systèmes at The Westin Chennai, we had the opportunity to showcase how advanced simulation is transforming the way products are designed, developed, and validated.

The EGS Coimbatore team proudly participated in VGM’s 6th Edition – Run for Nation 2026, held on 9th August at Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore.

Our participation was a step towards supporting the cause of fitness, unity, and building a healthier, drug-free society. 💪

⚽ Engineering meets Football.

What if a football moment could be recreated using nothing but engineering principles?
Using SOLIDWORKS Motion, Mr. Vishnu Sivan and Mr. Gowtham Shanmugam developed a short 12-second simulation where an Argentina forward aims for the top corner while a Spain goalkeeper dives to make the save.

Every movement—from the player's approach to the goalkeeper's reaction—was built using motion simulation, precise timing, and kinematic constraints.

As football fans around the world await another historic clash, here's a simple question:
🏆 Will the reigning champions defend their title... or will a new chapter be written?
