Positive Attitude (Hindi)

More than a year back, I was doing a Program for 1 of the Top Leader's team for 1 of the Top Network Marketing company at Delhi.

There were more than 160 people and almost all the participants were Achievers and hence everyone knew the importance of Positive Attitude.

However, 'knowing the importance of Positive Attitude' and "maintaining a Positive Attitude" are totally different. Isn't it?

Whether you are in Sales as a Job, a Career, a Profession or whether you think you are not in Sales, the fact is that almost “Everything we do is Sales”.

Selling includes
a) Convincing your children to drink milk, eat vegetables or do homework,
b) Influencing your husband/ wife/ parents/ sibling,
c) Persuading your team-mates, juniors, friends and colleagues to accept your view point.

You will be more effective in all these and more if you learn Selling Skills.

As Ziglar says “Selling is a way of Life”. Hope you agree.

When I appreciated a friend for her Excellent work, she responded that she is nothing special.

I am sure you too have experienced something like this when you appreciate someone or someone appreciates you.

So why does it happen?

It's because we have been told to be humble, but no one told us what is humbleness. Right?

Remember:- Humbleness does not mean that we have to deny appreciation, but not allow that appreciation to become our EGO.

'You can Overcome Your Cash Flow Problems by Selling'.

Fact is that more than 70% of Cash Flow problems in almost every Business are related to Sales or Profitability. And most of , , , and are NOT AWARE of this.

They think it is LACK of FUNDING.

Remember that Market conditions are not different for you and your competitors. It’s just that they/ their Salesforce is more competent than you/ your Salespeople.

One of the Best decision you can make for Your Business, Your Startup and Your Profession is to become good at:-

1. Selling Skills
2. Negotiation Skills
3. Customer Care
4. Marketing
5. Building/ Managing a Sales Team

Even though all these Skills are important, but if you can work on only 1 Skill, I would suggest you to Master Selling Skills

Almost everyone has a Dream and everyone has fear.

However, some people work on their Dream and make it so strong that no amount of Fear can stop them.

My humble suggestion is - Don’t Focus on Fear. Focus on your Dream.

Just remember that if you are procrastinating or don’t feel motivated, all you have to do is write down the reasons why your Dream is important to you.

The lesson I want to share with you is Very Valuable because I have paid a huge price to learn this Lesson.

You have 2 Choices. Either You can Learn from my mistake or You can Learn from Your Own Mistakes.

I used to love arguments. I believed that Arguing was the Best way to Learn, but it has cost me friends, relationships and most important Sales.

It took me a lot of Experience as well as a Few Books and Many Trainings that
"Argument always Results in Lose-Lose.

You may ask WHY?

Because if You Lose the Argument, You Lose. RIGHT?

But, even if You Win the Argument, You Still Lose. You may wonder How.

Because the Person who lost the Argument doesn't Like You

And if you are a Salesperson, they won't Buy from You. So, You will Lose the Sale.

Hope You Agree.

So, What is the Solution?

Solution is Simple, but NOT Easy.

Never Ever, Never, NEVER Argue

Most people don’t realise that the 2 most important Skills are Selling Skills and People Skills.

Selling Skills are important in every area of Life whether you are in Selling as a Profession or even if you think you are NOT in Sales.

Actually, every Person - be it a Child or Adult, Employee or Employer, Buyer or Seller, Boss or Subordinate, Husband or Wife - everybody is in Sales.

Some are Selling a Product(s)/ Service(s), some are Selling their Ideas, Some are Selling their Beliefs and Buyers are Selling their Money. So, whatever You Do, You are in Sales and You have a Choice to be Good at it or NOT to be Good at it.

My Suggestion - Become Great at it. It will make a Huge Positive Impact 👍

Another important Skill is People Skills or the Ability to deal with people. In every job, career or Business, we have to deal with people. Even in Family and Social Life, we have to interact with people.

And in almost every single situation, a Person with Better People Skills is Liked and Loved and he/ she is requested to Lead everyone.

Unfortunately, both these Skills are not taught to us. However, if You want to Succeed and Achieve More in Your Life, it’s Your responsibility to improve them.

Just a couple of days before due to , a guy approached me at a Super-market.

He asked me - How come you are in ?

Obviously, I was surprised with the question. So I asked him why he is asking.

He said - I am following you on FB for more than 2 years and I thought you are in .

Anyway, as our conversation progressed, he mentioned that he is B.E. and MBA, but he is not happy with his job.

When I suggested him to leave his job, he looked shocked because as we know getting a job is becoming more and more difficult.

That's when I shared with him what I am sharing with you today and I am glad to say that he called me today to inform his progress.

I feel Happy and Grateful for an opportunity to impact 1 more person.
