Don’t Compare Bricks by Price Alone! Check the Size & Quality

When buying red bricks or fly ash bricks for your house construction, don’t look only at the price per brick. Even a small difference of a few millimetres in length, height, or width can significantly affect the total number of bricks required for a wall.

Two bricks may look almost identical and have similar strength, but if one is slightly smaller, you may need 10–20% more bricks to complete the same wall. This can increase your overall material cost and affect construction efficiency.

So, before purchasing bricks, always check dimensions, quality, compressive strength, and actual quantity required—not just the price per brick.

A cheaper brick is not always a cheaper construction solution.
