Signing Off as President – JCI Coimbatore Cosmo

2024 has been an emotional rollercoaster, and reading my final report as President truly brought tears to my eyes. This marks the end of my journey as President of JCI Coimbatore Cosmo—a role I took on with self-doubt and hesitation.

When the Past Presidents encouraged me to step up, I was torn. On one hand, my inner voice whispered, "You can’t do this—too many commitments, too much to handle." On the other hand, it said, "This is the best opportunity to grow, to learn, and to challenge yourself."

I decided to take that leap, even though I had no idea how I would manage my professional life and JCI responsibilities. It wasn’t easy, but I discovered something invaluable along the way: support and belief from others make all the difference.

A huge shoutout to Aishwarya Seetharam, my incredible Secretary. Honestly, at times, I wondered, "Who’s the President—her or me?" That’s how deeply she guided me through this journey. She, along with her amazing family, became my own. Their unwavering support has my deepest gratitude.

JCI Coimbatore Cosmo gave me more than just leadership experience. It taught me how to see myself and others differently. It was a platform for growth, for finding my voice. And I owe a special thanks to Arusullah, who always believed in me and helped me step into the world of training.

2024 has been a transformative year—filled with challenges, growth, and immense learning. With a full heart and lifelong memories, I sign off from this chapter of my life.

We had our National President JFS ADV C R Rekesh Sharma's official visit last evening. We have submitted the reports of the various projects done so far to him. I on behalf of the head table thank everyone of you for your valuable presence, support and guidance throughout this year, we hope to have the same in the last few miles of this tenure.

We had a session yesterday on the topic "Kai Alavu Manasu" about emotional intelligence by JCI Sen Sasi Prabha mam. She gave us wonderful insights on how to approach negative emotions in a positive manner and how to approach different feelings. She also emphasized the importance of practicing gratitude in our daily life. It was an inspiring and fruitful session.
