Obviously when one has to explore death, how does one approach it? For, a mere theoretical approach has no value, and also how does one explore death as an actuality without dying or how does one explores death while living? Also, when one considers an exploration into death one has to see the whole of life, it’s origin, living, dying and also consider is there a life after death and immortality? Then rebirth, karma and all the aspects come into play? Further, a mere speculation is meaningless therefore one has to consider beliefs when one explores such aspects of life. As a parent you see your child asking for many things and sometimes you feel it is not necessary to provide it or in other words that it is not a need just a desire!

Now, as a parent how do you know and understand the difference between a need and desire? Do you understand your own needs and desires? Is there a way to find out and also more importantly, have such dialogues with your child?

Most of us are caught in desires, and the challenging part is not able to differentiate between a need and desire… now if we’re unable to do it, how do you expect the child to do it? Further, as your child grows he or she may not be able to differentiate and this leads to lots of pain, hurt, habits and so on in life…
