The vibrant spirit of youth, culture, and creativity came alive at the AIU 39th Inter University National Youth Festival 2026, hosted at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, from 10th to 14th March 2026.

With participation from 142 universities and an impressive gathering of 2,963 students from across the nation, the festival stood as a grand celebration of talent, unity, and artistic excellence.

We are immensely proud to share that our students showcased outstanding performances in both Mimicry and Folk/Tribal Dance, securing Second Position in both events.

Their dedication, passion, and teamwork have brought great pride to our institution, reflecting the true spirit of cultural excellence and youthful energy.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore Campus joyously celebrated Ugadi 2026, bringing the campus community together in a vibrant expression of culture, unity, and new beginnings.

The celebrations commenced with a traditional Ugadi procession that filled the campus with festive music, colours, and enthusiasm as students and faculty gathered to mark the auspicious occasion. The evening unfolded into a lively Cultural Night, where captivating dance and musical performances energized the stage and created a truly memorable atmosphere of celebration and togetherness.

The festivities continued the following day with Ugadi Bhojanaalu, a grand traditional feast featuring authentic Andhra delicacies, symbolizing prosperity, warmth, and the spirit of community that the festival embodies. Later in the day, a special movie screening further enriched the celebration, offering another moment for the campus community to gather, relax, and share the joy of the occasion.

Ugadi 2026 stood as a beautiful reflection of cultural heritage and collective celebration, welcoming the New Year with hope, harmony, and happiness.

The vibrant display of rhythm, acrobatics, devotion, and Manipuri heritage captivated the entire audience at Amriteswari Hall.
