ASBM MBA | Experiential Learning in a VUCA World

Adithya School of Business Management Coimbatore organised a hands-on learning session on “Need for Adapting Skills in a VUCA World: A LEGO-Based Learning Experience” on 19 September 2026.

The session was conducted by Mr Raghuvaran A P, Faculty of Analytics, Corporate Consultant & Trainer, who engaged MBA students in an interactive LEGO-based learning experience designed to encourage adaptability, collaboration, problem-solving, creativity and decision-making in uncertain and rapidly changing business environments.

The experiential approach enabled students to move beyond conventional classroom learning and understand the importance of adapting their skills to meet the evolving demands of the corporate world.

The session was facilitated by Dr.Sundarapandiyan Natarajan, Professor & Director, Adithya School of Business Management, Coimbatore, reinforcing ASBM’s commitment to hands-on, experiential and corporate-oriented MBA learning.

Bridging Classroom Learning with Global Business Operations!

Our I MBA students from Adithya School of Business Management (ASBM) recently went on an insightful Industrial Visit to Sueera Alloys Global Pvt Ltd on 17 September 2026. This program was granted by our most respected Chairman, Er.C.Sukumaran and Managing Trustees, Mr S Praveen Kumar and Dr Srinidhi Praveen Kumar.

During this experiential learning visit, the future managers deeply explored end-to-end operational workflows, gaining firsthand insights into: Production Processes – From raw material sourcing to the final output. Quality Control – Understanding the stringent benchmarks required for global standards. International Marketing Process – Exploring how goods are securely shipped to major global destinations including Italy, Germany, and the USA.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sundarapandiyan Natarajan (Professor & Director) for facilitating this impactful learning journey. Special thanks to our faculty coordinators, Mr. R. Lakshmikanth and Ms. S. Kavya, for accompanying and guiding our students throughout the visit.

Adithya School of Business Management ASBM, Coimbatore organised a hands-on training session on “International Business Communication & Etiquette” on 01 October 2026, designed to equip MBA students with essential communication skills and professional etiquette for the global corporate environment.

The session was led by Dr Synthia Surin, International Corporate Coach, Leadership & Life Coach and Director, ICCHP Asia (UK), who brought practical corporate insights and engaging activities to the learning experience. She introduced the 7Cs of Effective Communication — Clarity, Conciseness, Coherence, Correctness, Completeness, Concreteness and Courtesy — highlighting their importance in building professional, confident and impactful communication.

ASBM Students Master Strategic Portfolio Management : Strategic Tools and Applications through Live Case Applications on 11 September 2026

At Adithya School of Business Management ASBM, learning goes beyond textbooks and theory. MBA students recently engaged in an immersive Strategic Management workshop, where they applied globally recognized frameworks to analyze real business challenges.

McKinsey 7S Framework : Student teams examined leading global brands such as Nestlé, Apple, and Starbucks, mapping their strategies across the seven critical elements of the McKinsey 7S model : Strategy, Structure, Systems, Shared Values, Skills, Style, and Staff.

This exercise enabled students to understand how internal alignment drives organizational effectiveness and long-term competitive advantage.

Porter’s Three Generic Strategies: The session also featured an in-depth exploration of Porter’s Cost Leadership, Differentiation, and Focus strategies. Teams assessed how each company leverages these approaches to achieve market leadership and sustain profitability in a dynamic global environment.

Simulation-Based Learning : To bridge the gap between theory and practice, students participated in simulation activities, making real-time strategic decisions, testing assumptions, and evaluating outcomes, enhancing their critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

The programme was facilitated by Dr.Sundarapandiyan Natarajan, Professor & Director, who guided the teams in connecting conceptual models with real-world managerial insights, ensuring that the learning experience was both rigorous and practical.

This experiential learning approach equips ASBM students with the ability to analyze complex business scenarios, design effective strategies, and develop the leadership mindset needed to excel in today’s competitive corporate world.

Adithya School of Business Management Coimbatore (ASBM) proudly organised an industry-focused retail visit for our I MBA students to Prozone Mall, Coimbatore on 10 September 2026, where they explored a wide range of branded and organised retail businesses. Students engaged in hands-on observation across multiple sectors, including electronics, home appliances, fashion, F&B, and sports retail, gaining valuable insights into consumer behaviour, store operations, merchandising, and modern retail formats.

We extend our gratitude to Mr. Bringston, Marketing Director of Prozone, for his interactive session and industry insights that enriched the learning experience.
