The Future of Tech Hiring Isn’t About Tests. It’s About Understanding Talent.

As a founder working closely with engineering teams, recruiters, and real candidates every single day, I have realised something we don’t openly talk about enough:

But give them a real-world problem and they’ll break it down in minutes.
What tech teams need now is people who can:
Debug
Design
Deploy
Communicate
This requires evaluation methods rooted in practicality, not puzzles.

3. Recruiters have quietly become one of the most strategic roles in the company.
A good recruiter today doesn’t just screen, they think like a systems designer.
They look for:
Depth over definitions
Ownership over years of experience
Clarity over complexity
And when the recruiter gets the signal right, the entire hiring cycle speeds up.

4. The best interviews feel like collaboration, not interrogation.
The conversations that lead to the best hires usually sound like:
“Here’s a real issue from our product, how would you approach it?”
“Tell me about the last major problem you solved.”
“Show me something you designed that still makes you proud.”
These conversations reveal maturity.

5. The real breakthrough will come from systems that understand talent deeply.
This is where the industry is heading.
Systems that can evaluate:
Skill depth
Role fit

Not by guessing.
Not by keywords.
But by understanding.
