BWI in collaboration with INRM Consultants, Agua Preciosa Enterprises LLP, Geo Climate Risk Solutions Pvt Ltd and Business France, successfully hosted the 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼-𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 - 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 8th April,2026
at the Research and Innovation Park Auditorium in IIT Delhi.

INRM Consultants Director, Prof. A. K. Gosain was a moderator for the Panel discussion on ‘Flood Early warning & Densification of Observation Systems’. This panel convened water experts and risk management specialists to identify practical, scalable solutions for strengthening early warning systems and enhancing hydrometeorological observation networks, with a focus on improving data coverage, forecasting accuracy, and last-mile risk communication.

INRM Consultants Director, Prof. A. K. Gosain gave a presentation for the International Conference on Climate-Resilient Dams and Hydro power Infrastructure: Integrating Environmental Sustainability in Planning and Development held on 29-30 January, 2026 at SCOPE Convention Centre, Lodi Road, New Delhi organised by Committee for the International Commission on Large Dams, India (INCOLD).

The conference served as a crucial platform to bring together researchers, engineers, policymakers, and young professionals to discuss climate change impacts on dams and hydro power systems for environmentally sustainable infrastructure in vulnerable regions. Prof. Gosain’s presentation focused on National-scale river flow prediction portal for climate-resilient dams and hydro power planning in India.

INRM Consultants welcomes Mr. Anurag Yadav who has joined us as a Water Resources Specialist. He brings with him significant academic and professional expertise having previously worked with esteemed institutions such as IPEC, Ghaziabad U.P India and Government Engineering College Jagdalpur Chhattisgarh India.

Mr. Anurag Yadav is currently in the final stage of his Ph. D in Hydrological and Hydraulic modelling from MNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj India. He has done his M. Tech. in Water Resources Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra, Haryana, India and B. Tech in Civil Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, India.

Mr. Anurag Yadav is an enthusiastic, adaptive and fast-learning person with a broad and acute research interest in the field of flood modelling, crop modelling, climate modelling, hydrological modelling, remote sensing and GIS. He has published his research in renowned journals and presented his work in prominent conferences. He particularly enjoys collaborating with researchers from different disciplines to develop new skills and solve new challenges.

In a major step towards making Patna a safer and smarter city INRM Consultants in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi recently launched Flood Early Warning System Dashboard developed for the Patna Smart City Limited (PSCL) which got published by the Hindustan Times and Dainik Jagran. Citizens can also take part in flood monitoring through a mobile app called 'Aab Prahari' which is available on both Android and iOS, this app lets us upload pictures of flooded areas. It uses GPS to tag the location and sends the information directly to the city’s command center. This will help officials know exactly where the problem is and take immediate action for more proactive urban flood management.

INRM Consultants Director, Ms. Puja Singh was invited to the Working Session on Urban Flood Risk Mitigation Planning organized by the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) at India Habitat Centre (IHC), Delhi on 24th June 2025. She delivered a presentation on Delhi floods, focusing on issues related to the Barapullah and Trans-Yamuna basins. She provided her invaluable insights into the causes of the Yamuna River flooding in 2023.

Gosain was one of the prominent speakers for the 12th Edition of the ‘Dialogue to Develop a Vision for the Environment of Delhi’ organised by the India International Centre which was covered by the CFTV News Report. Prof. A.K. Gosain focused on the issues of mishandling of sewerage, better coordination between departments, accountability and strengthening our society through community participation for better Environment, Development and Sustainability.

INRM Consultants team conducted training and demonstration of its recently launched Flood Early Warning System Dashboard developed for the Patna Smart City Limited on 16th June,2025. A smart online dashboard is now available that shows real-time and forecasted flood information for Patna. It uses rainfall data from weather sensors installed across the city. This system will help citizens and officials know in advance where flooding might happen, so that right actions can be taken in time.
