Victoria 2026-27: New ROI and Nomination Fees

Victoria has announced new fees for its skilled migration program.

ROI: AUD 60 excluding GST (AUD 66 including GST). Subclass 190 or 491 nomination application: AUD 180 excluding GST (AUD 198 including GST).

10% GST applies if the applicant is in Australia at payment. The nomination fee is payable only after invitation when submitting a nomination application. Payment does not guarantee selection or nomination. The program opening date has not been announced.

Canada Low-Wage LMIA Update — Rates Effective 9 October 2026

Canada updated the CMA unemployment rates used for low-wage LMIA processing on 9 October 2026. The rates apply through 7 January 2027.

Certain low-wage applications in CMAs with unemployment of 6% or higher are subject to refusal to process, with specified exemptions. Check the work location and applicable exemption before relying on a job offer.
