The session was successful as more than 35 start-ups prepared their Pitches, made them Iterate it by giving more inputs/suggestions & as we progressed by the end of the session they all had "Perfect Pitch"

Think Politically & Tactfully when Change is to be proposed

When an Adaptive Leader "got up in the balcony" he observes changes that need to be shared with the team. Challenge is each stakeholder has a different agenda & motivation and hence resistance is normal, important is to understand WHY they resist & WHAT they fear

Change is about challenging the belief of stakeholders, their loyalty & values which have been their foundation & hence proposing change is not a matter of facts or figures or even giving logic.

Successful implementation of change will happen when a Leader acknowledges the fear, Understands & Empathizes with the belief of stakeholders, their loyalty, their values & the discomfort of leaving their comfort zone. It is for this reason when we undertake change management we involve all the stakeholders & not just Top bosses.

As Change is not about your power of convincing or forcing the inevitable it is about developing trust & faith in a Leader, it's about engaging all the stakeholder & moving together towards the Goal

Should we avoid Goal Setting & Planning in tough times like today?

1 of the participant in our Goal Coach program had this doubt.

Tough times call for more in-depth planning with a lot of alternate plans. Analysis companies selling the same stuff, a few shut down in Covid & some flourished like never before.

Goal setting encompasses lining a plan of action truly rooted to guide and motivate personals and groups of professionals towards a specific goal.
Being a star component of management literature, goal setting is intended towards fuelling one’s performance with the target set distinct and clear.
With the focus on purpose no matter how much tough the process of achieving the goal is, it is definitely a relief that the catalyzing factor is strong.

Setting goal is much easier than actually fulfilling them. The simplest reason most personals fail to complete their journey of achieving their goals is their lack of seriousness. Many a time inadequate motivation limits them in keeping up the zeal.

For companies, it is very important to link these Goals with the performance of the employees & their KRA's.
