🇮🇳 Empowering Young Minds Through Skills | Skill Manthan Workshop 2026

The Textile Sector Skill Council (TSC) was privileged to participate in the Skill Manthan Workshop organized by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) on 5th September 2026 at DG NCC Camp, Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi.

The workshop provided an excellent platform to engage with NCC cadets and create awareness about the vast opportunities available in the Textile & Handloom Sector.

🧵 During the session, TSC showcased:
🔹 Emerging career opportunities across the textile value chain
🔹 Industry-relevant NSQF-aligned job roles and skill pathways
🔹 Entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities
🔹 Opportunities in Technical Textiles, Handloom, Textile Manufacturing and Recycling
🔹 Government-led skilling and entrepreneurship initiatives
🔹 Pathways for youth to build careers and enterprises through skills

TSC also interacted with cadets, encouraging them to explore skill-based careers, entrepreneurship and innovation and contribute to India’s growing textile ecosystem.

The initiative aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat by strengthening youth capabilities and connecting them with meaningful career and entrepreneurial opportunities.

🧵 Strengthening Skills, Empowering Communities | TSC in Begusarai, Bihar 🇮🇳

We are pleased to share that Dr. Swapna Mishra, CEO, Textile Sector Skill Council (TSC), visited the Training-cum-Production Centre (TCPC) in Begusarai, Bihar, and interacted with the candidates undergoing training at the centre.

The visit provided an opportunity to understand the candidates’ learning experience, discuss their aspirations, and gain valuable insights into the implementation of skill development initiatives at the grassroots level.

Dr. Mishra was accompanied by representatives from National Skill Development Corporation, AMHSSCIndia, and industry representatives from Banka Silk, bringing together key stakeholders from the skill development and textile ecosystem.

🤝 The interaction highlighted the importance of strong collaboration between Government, Sector Skill Councils, industry and training stakeholders to create meaningful skilling and livelihood opportunities for communities.

The Textile Sector Skill Council (TSC) invites applications from eligible and competent Assessment Agencies (AAs) for empanelment to undertake assessment activities across the Textile & Handloom Sector.

🔹 Mandatory Eligibility
Applicants must have valid NCVET recognition/approval for the relevant Textile sector, with applicable sectoral and territorial coverage. Relevant coverage for Textile & Handloom qualifications will be considered as per the EOI requirements.
