Ar. Ankit Bhalla, Manager, GRIHA Council, as a panellist at the MIR Net Zero Summit 2026, hosted by MIR Group in Mangalore, India, on 20 February 2026. He was part of the plenary session titled 'From Rome to New Delhi: Mobilizing Global Green Capital for India’s Net Zero Economy.'

The session explored the urgent need to mobilize large-scale green capital to support India’s Net Zero transition. The discussion focused on bridging the gap between global investors and Indian infrastructure, emphasizing that without adequate and timely capital flows, sustainability will remain an aspiration rather than a tangible outcome.

During the session, Mr. Bhalla highlighted that GRIHA offers a comprehensive and performance-driven assessment framework, enabling investors to evaluate projects against clear and measurable benchmarks. Through third-party verification, lifecycle-based assessment, and transparent documentation of environmental performance, GRIHA helps differentiate authentic sustainability initiatives from unsubstantiated claims, thereby mitigating greenwashing risks and reinforcing investor confidence.
