Here's a reality check I wish someone had given me earlier in my career, especially as a woman in leadership:

**1) EVERYONE SAYS:** To be truly confident, you need constant external validation โ€“ promotions, praise from superiors, client wins, or a visible seat at the 'right' table.

**2) THE REALITY:** The relentless pursuit of external validation to fuel your confidence is a never-ending treadmill. I've seen countless brilliant women managers caught in this cycle. Your true capacity and brilliance are not up for external review.

**3) WHY THE GAP EXISTS:** We're conditioned to believe our worth is tied to external metrics. It often feels safer to have someone else confirm our capabilities than to trust our own judgment, especially when imposter syndrome whispers.

**4) WHAT THIS MEANS:** Stop building your confidence on borrowed opinions. The most solid foundation for your brilliance is built from within. Trust your judgment. Own your power.

๐ŸŒŸ Sharing a personal coaching journey moment with you all! ๐ŸŒŸ

Have you ever met someone who's brimming with ideas, exceptional at planning, yet somehow falls short when it comes to ex*****on?

I recently had the pleasure of coaching such a client. Her potential was undeniable, but there was one glaring hurdle: the transition from ideation to action.

I had to break down each of her excuse to dive into the heart of the matter: from "No Action" to "Taking Action". ๐Ÿ’ผ

Reflecting on my own journey, it took me five years to bridge the gap between constant learning to finally taking complete action.

Despite having over two decades of experience as a healer with a robust clientele and numerous success stories, transitioning into the realm of ICF coaching seemed daunting.

Why did it take so long?

What keeps us BUSY FOR NOTHING ? ๐Ÿค”

Here's what I've learned along the way:

1๏ธโƒฃ Research Mode Overload: I loved this phase. Research is crucial, but it's only the first step. I found myself endlessly consuming information, yet unsettled to put that knowledge into practice. Just Dive In, Don't Just Dip: You gotta close the books and just do it.

2๏ธโƒฃ Waiting for the Right Time: I was wondering what more could I learn before that perfect launch. Spoiler alert: there's no such thing as the perfect time. Start where you are, with what you have, facing the discomfort and getting stuff done.

3๏ธโƒฃ Analysis Paralysis: I saw my client spend hours dissecting her decisions, waiting for the stars to align. This is certainly overrated! Sometimes, you just gotta go for it. The best decisions are made through action and iteration.

4๏ธโƒฃ Broken Promises: This is like slow poison, making commitments to yourself, only to let them fall by the wayside. Each unmet promise chips away a certain level of self-trust and self-confidence. Donโ€™t lose that respect in your own eyes.

5๏ธโƒฃ Procrastination Paralysis: Then there is the epidemic of mindlessly scrolling, avoiding the discomfort of actually doing the work. Procrastination is the enemy of progress. But this also means the mind needs healing. Time to make peace with uncertainty and take that leap and watch your productivity soar. ๐Ÿš€
