In KGTU im. I. Razzakov, the Minister of education and science Elvira Sarieva and the Minister of health Talantbek Batyraliev held a round table discussion of the monitoring results for the main areas of activities of medical universities.
During the round table participants were introduced to help monitor the main directions of the medical universities of the country.
"Presents the results of the joint monitoring indicate the presence of unresolved problems in the entire system of higher medical education. In particular, the main state universities aimed at training for Republic and private universities is wholly or mainly in the export of knowledge. Among universities there is no uniform system and training programmes for medical personnel do not always respect the requirements of state educational standards.
In addition, most universities do not have their own clinical databases, the use of public medical institutions several institutions at the same time leads to congestion of the latter and having a negative impact both on the therapeutic and educational processes. Another problem is the shortage of teachers especially in private and regional universities," said the Ministry of education.
In conclusion, comprehensive discussion, the roundtable participants decided to entrust the Ministry of education to provide appropriate conditions for the educational process in higher education in accordance with licensing requirements and training of medical professionals high quality, in conjunction with universities to develop a unified program of training medical personnel within the framework of existing educational standards, to take appropriate measures to address the identified deficiencies, also to consider on Board the issue of further activities of the universities (faculties), prevent the violation of license requirements and the poor quality of education.
The Ministry of health was instructed together with the Ministry of education and science to develop and adopt the concept of postgraduate medical education, to study and determine the mechanisms of distribution of graduates of medical schools, professionals who have completed an internship and residency at the needs of the health system.
Note, on the basis of joint order of the Ministry of education and science and the Ministry of health established an interdepartmental Commission for the quality assurance of education in educational institutions implementing programs of higher medical education KSMA them.
