Introduction
The I-Ching is a work of Divination containing oracles (predictions) based on 64 Hexagrams, each composed of 6 stages/traits/lines---each of which is either positive or negative. Its not a book really...its a live guru for me...who is not a person but consciousness...and what is the job of the consciousness? to ensure that it keeps the flux and flow of forces in live manner and allow those to tap it who really want to savor the joy of evolution....(whatever that means!)

What am i saying is simply thus-in our daily day to day working we usually lose track of who runs the show and we think that we do...so what? being wrong is also another form of correct...infact there is no wrong or correct naturally...it is or it is not...

but if the entity of selfhood does exist, as it does....why not preserve the consciousness in it and allow it to run the course...if life belongs to consciousness, then what i am? who am i? or even more, why am i?

Q-what really does I Ching readings do for you?...

Ans-for this answer i am going to do a practical exercise, i will ask the i ching itself as to what it can do for you......(i use the coin method)...the answer came as -Main answer-43/breakthrough-lines 3rd and 5th and background is 54-Marrying Maiden.....what does it mean...
i am going to interpret it now...
43-means a breakthrough after a long accumulation of tension-it also refers to a time when inferior people/thoughts begin to disappear..i.e. the answers give you a breakthrough in your problem areas-it is said that even a single passion lurking in the heart has the power to obscure reason-passion and reason cannot exist side by side...
in a resolute struggle of the good against evil, therefore, there are definite rules that cannot be disregarded. , if it is to succeed.
the rules are as follows-
1. resolution must be based on a union of strength and friendliness.
2. compromise with evil is not possible, it must be openly discredited.
3. the struggle must not be carried directly by force, if negativity is branded, then it thinks of weapons, and if we do it the favor of fighting it blow by blow, we lose in the end because we ourselves get entangled in hatred and passion.
4. do not confront your own negativity directly or wrestle with them ..but be on guard in our own persons against the faults we have branded......when evil does not find any opponent, the sharp edges of evil become dulled.
5. the best way to fight evil is to make energetic progress in the good.

well, so far so good...so these readings give you insider sense of handling external problems...the 3rd line says-we are in an ambiguous position, that in a resolute fight against evil/negativity
we cannot turn against it because the negativity will take recourse to countermeasures...so for a while allow yourself to be misjudged, but do not turn against yourself but do not participate in the vileness...so remaining true to yourself becomes the sole criterion.
the 5th line says- in order to progress in life you have to relearn to walk in the middle, that we cannot give up the struggle in growing our vegetation just because weeds regrow.....so in removing the weeds make sure that the vegetation is preserved (your good qualities)....

FRom today we are starting a column called,'THE DAILY I CHING in which the visitors have the previlege of asking a question which will be nswered by the I Ching and interpreted by Dr.Anand Manocha...today's question is - WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE ON EARTH?
ans: Main answer-55/ABUNDANCE, moving lines - 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th...background-47/OPPRESSION.
I Ching says that life is meant for abundance, and this is possible when you and the others/environment are in a complementary position: the first line says that when you meet somebody of like mind you can be togather for many years, 2nd line-Circumstances make others distrust you...but one cannot allow to lose faith in oneself...sometimes-as in third line-that sometimes it becomes impossible to make your presence felt, howsoever capable you may be...but the flowering comes in the 5th line-be modest and willing to accept the help of someone,...the end result will be highly successful and beneficial to all.
The background defines a situation in which water has flowed out of the lake from below, i.e. in name one is a human but no loving relations are available, hence one lives more symbolically and less actually...so the meaning of life is not to be seeked alone but by forging complementary relationship with someone else-working in pairs.
