The Bhartiya Patita Udhar Sabha, set up in 1984, is rendering a yeoman service for the settlement, rehabilitation and upliftement of s*x workers and their children. To open Balvidya Niketans (Child Development & Care Centres) for the children of s*x workers in all redlight areas of the country

2. To approach Health Developments of State Governments, at regular intervals, to ensure smooth suppl

y of condoms in the redlight areas.

4. To 4rescue and rehabilitate the s*x workers.

5. To provide them social status and bring them in the main national stream.

6. To provide them ration cards, health cards and photo identity cards.

7. To get them free medical aid/check up.

8. To arrange marriage for those s*x workers who wish to leave the profession.

9. To meet the cost of their cremation, if approached.

10. To organize AIDS awareness campaigns in the redlight areas.
