🚨 – MCA Introduces Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme, 2026 (CCFS-2026)
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued General Circular No. 01/2026 dated 24th February 2026, introducing the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme, 2026 — a major compliance relief initiative for defaulting companies.
📅 :
🗓 15 April 2026 to 15 July 2026
🔎 is this Scheme about?

This is a one-time opportunity for companies to regularise pending filings related to:
🧩 Annual Return
🧩Financial Statements
🧩Other specified e-forms
💡 Under CCFS-2026:

✅ File pending documents by paying only 10% of additional fees (instead of full additional fees).
✅ Dormant Status Option (Section 455):
File MSC-1 by paying only 50% of normal filing fees.
✅ Strike Off Option (STK-2):
Companies seeking closure can apply by paying only 25% of applicable filing fees.
🛡
🧩No penalty under Sections 92 & 137 if filings are completed:
🧩Before issuance of adjudication notice, OR
🧩Within 30 days of such notice.
🧩Protection from prospective penal action for specified forms, subject to conditions.
❗ ?
The scheme excludes:
🧩Companies already under final strike-off action
🧩Companies that have already applied for strike-off
🧩Companies already declared dormant
🧩Dissolved entities
🧩Vanishing companies

🎯 Why This Matters
🧩With additional fees of ₹100 per day (without upper limit) applicable since 2018, many MSMEs and private companies faced heavy financial burden due to delayed filings.
:
🧩Cost savings
🧩Compliance clean-up
🧩Opportunity to regularize or close inactive entities
🧩Reduced litigation exposure
If you or your clients have pending MCA filings, this 3-month window is critical.

on Exemption
