We reviewed 100+ videos resumes recently while recruiting for a few roles. Here are some insightful observations of our experts

❌ Most video resumes were just in Audio in those Job Portals
❌ Most Video resumes didn't have proper lighting on the face
❌ Some video resumes were very long more than 2 to 3 Mins.
❌ Some were talking about their complete experience

what you actually need to do

➡️ Before Recording

✔️ Make sure your lighting is good - Simple Rule - Make Light come from the opposite direction and fall on the face.
✔️ Remember Video Resume is a Video and Not Audio only
✔️ Dress up well as if you are attending a F2F Interview.
✔️ Smile while talking

➡️ Content
✔️ Don't make this is an as long video. Not more than 2 to 3 Mins,
✔️ Talk about Why you are fit for the TARGET Role. Which include
✔️Target Job Titles
✔️ Skill Set & Expertise that u have for those target Roles,
✔️ Domains that you have worked
✔️ An industry that you have worked with
✔️ Finally your Achievements
✔️ Start from your recent experience/ Role and NOT Vice Versa
