Speaker Cable

CCTV Cables


The cables used are of hybrid type with combination of communication and electrical wires. The communication cables are used for recording the images by the camera and to communicate with the data centre. The 2 or 3 number of electric wires in this hybrid type cables are used for powering the cameras. The communication cables are typically like RG 6 / RG 59 or any other type as per the customer specification and electric cables are from sizes 0.15 to 2.5 mm2 as per the specifications depending on the load.

Sasco has now introduced these wires. Sasco uses the latest technology of gas injected physical foaming for manufacture of co-axial cables which offer low weight and helps loss free signal transmission. The conductor for this cable is of solid bare copper type which offers low conductor resistance and lower attenuation. This results in better picture quality.

The electric wires in this cable come with annealed bare flexible type copper conductor, insulated with PVC, specially formulated and in house manufactured in addition to being colour coded as per specifications. These insulated cores are laid up along with co-axial cable and further PVC jacketed with black colour. These cables are most suitable for outside application as the PVC Jacket offers UV protection.

Telephone and Switchboard Cables
Applications

Sasco switch board cables are best suited for all telephone switch board applications in high rise buildings, offices, factories, hotels, hospitals, residential complexes etc. They generally conform to the ITD specifications G/W1R- 06/02May97 and Sasco specifications and are ideally designed to minimize cross talk.


Features

The conductor is made of electrolytic grade, bright annealed bare solid copper conductor of 0.45/ 0.5 mm diameter and is insulated with a special grade polyethylene compound on the latest state-of-the-art extruders. The cores are twisted together with a uniform lay on a special purpose imported machine, according to the color code to form pairs. The pairs are bunched together in such a manner so as to minimize cross talk. The cable is then jacketed with a specially formulated PVC compound with fire retarding properties. A nylon rip cord provides an effective means of slitting the jacket without damaging the insulation. These are ideal because of low attenuation and low cross talk. Available in standard pack of 90 M.

Winding Wires & 3 Core Flat Cables
PVC insulated Winding Wires for Submersible Pump Motors

Application
PVC insulated winding wires are used as original equipment for winding of submersible pump motors. They are also used for rewinding of these motors. The special purpose PVC insulation enables these wires to operate under water over long periods. The minimum insulation thickness is achieved through precision extrusion process so that insertion in stator slots is smooth and easy. Sasco has also developed higher sizes with multi strand copper conductors for higher HP Pump motors for specialized applications such as de-watering, mining and naval pumps.


Features
The conductor is solid/stranded and is manufactured from bright-annealed 99.97% pure bare copper which offers low conductor resistance. These wires are insulated with a special tough grade PVC compound formulated which is impervious to water, oil, grease, acids etc. These wires are extruded on state of the art machines for concentric insulation. Each coil is put through quality checks and water immersion test for trouble free marathon performance. These wires conform to IS 8783 (Part 4 / Sec 1) : 1995 and have lower overall diameter.


3 Core Flat Cables

Application

The PVC insulated and sheathed 3 core flat cables are used for giving electrical connection to the submersible pump motors. These are manufactured keeping in mind the severe, tough and difficult conditions in which they have to operate. The slot available in the tube well being narrow the shape of the cables has to be suited for such an application . These cables conform to and are marked IS 694: 1990 up to 4.0 sq. mm. The sizes above 4.0 sq.mm. cables generally conform to IS 694 : 1990.

Manufactured from bright-annealed 99.97% pure bare copper conductors these cables have low conductor resistance. The inner cores are insulated with a special grade PVC compound formulated . The tough robust outer PVC jacket protects it from the oils, greases, various chemicals and abrasions, thereby giving long life and electrical safety.
