In this Pic you will see the Minister of Economics from Govt of Russia, Mr Sergei Kapinos (Counselor Economic), Mr Alexander Pankratov, (Commercial Counselor) Embassy of Russian Federation in India, Mr Nikholia Topchev, Head of Culture ( Embassy of Russian Federation), Mr Gulshan Kumar (Chiarman (IREW) and CMD Super Cassette Industries, Mr R Nachappa (Director RBI), Mr. Prem Bagga (CMD.Bagga Links). Mr. Tarvinder Singh Thappar ( Vice President (IREW). Mr Rajendra Kumar Trakroo (President IREW).
The Seminar was conducted by Indo-Russian Entrepreneurs Wing ( Embassy of Russian Federation in India, so as to develop trust and business between India and Russia businessman. I remember lots of Business Participants including PHOENIX Shoes Mr. Ajay Kalsi ji and CMD of Shaw Wallace Industries asking the turned Mafia Culture and business interference in Russia.
A Trust building initiative taken by Russian Government was truly advantageous to bring back the lost trust and bringing new opportunities of business between India and Russia.
Hon. Sita Ram Kesari Ji represented the government of India and His Excellency Hon Anatoli M. Drukov, Ambassador of Russian Federation in India duly put forth the government initiatives from Both sides.
This seminar was the first of its kind to initiate normal trade between the two countries.
I headed this organisation for 5 years as President (IREW), and remember opening of trade avenues specially pharmaceutical and liquor for Indian companies in Russia.
