The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM) has warned the public about fake and unauthorised online trademark service providers operating in India.
🚫 These platforms:
Claim to offer trademark registration at very low prices
Falsely say they are connected with government offices
Mislead applicants by giving incorrect or fake status updates
✅ What should you do?
Use only the official IP India website for trademark filing: https://ipindia.gov.in
Always verify before hiring any agent or online service
Report any suspicious websites or advertisements to the CGPDTM
