A productive and significant meeting in Ghimbav, Brașov County, Romania, with Respected Mayor Ionel Fliundra and Vice Mayor Mihai Neagoe, focused on the development of Industrial parks in Ghimbav and the opportunities they can create for investment, industrial growth and international business cooperation.

Ghimbav today holds an increasingly important position within Brașov County, a region combining centuries of history with a dynamic modern industrial ecosystem and a strong presence of aerospace, aeronautical and advanced manufacturing companies.

The delegation was led by Shieva Munjal, President, Union of Bilateral Chambers of Commerce, accompanied by Vice President Alin Albu Marius and Vice President Eugen Capra ā€“ Romanian Affairs, along with distinguished dignitaries.

During the visit, the delegation also had the opportunity to explore the Evangelical Fortified Church of Ghimbav, a remarkable symbol of Transylvanian heritage. The church dates back to the 13th century, while its surrounding fortifications were developed in the 15th century as part of the regionā€™s historic defensive system.

The Union of Bilateral Chambers of Commerce from Romania (UBCCR) was pleased to be represented by Mr. Debashis Dutta, Assistant Vice President ā€“ Trade Development, at the 201st Independence Day Celebration of Uruguay, held at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi.

It was a privilege to join this distinguished gathering and extend our warm greetings to H.E. Alberto Guani, Ambassador of Uruguay, on this special occasion.

The evening brought together Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and distinguished diplomats from various countries, offering a valuable platform for meaningful diplomatic, cultural, and business interactions.

The celebration was enriched by Uruguayan cuisine, music, and cultural traditions. Mr. Dutta also had the opportunity to interact with the Ambassadors of Uruguay, Oman, Jamaica, and the Philippines.

During her official visit, Ms. Shieva Munjal, President of UBCCR, personally interacted with the students to understand their experiences, listen to their concerns and ensure that any challenges they may be facing are properly communicated and addressed.
