The day will bring together women, employers and ecosystem partners to explore opportunities, build digital and financial literacy, and connect with people who can help turn aspirations into livelihoods.

Women have come in for a training session. Some are here to learn a skill. Some are looking for work. Most are simply curious about what comes next.

Then the conversation turns to delivery work.

Questions come quickly. Is it safe? What are the working hours? Can I manage it with my family? What if I’ve never ridden before? Is this really a job women like me can do?

For Even Cargo, they are where the conversation begins.

We work with community institutions that already have women walking through their doors, women with the motivation to work but often without access to the right opportunity.

We don’t just bring jobs to communities. We show women that those jobs can belong to them too!

Proud to share that Even Cargo has signed an MoU with the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati - an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India.
Together, we’re launching the “Empowering Women from North East India as Logistics Entrepreneurs” program - a two-week cohort designed to train 30 women from across the North East in logistics operations and entrepreneurship, and set them up as Women Hub Entrepreneurs running their own logistics franchises.

This is the model Even Cargo has always believed in, that logistics can be a genuine pathway to entrepreneurship for women, not just employment. Partnering with IIE brings us their institutional reach and deep-rooted network across North East India.

Grateful to the Shri Pritam Dutta, IDAS, Director, MSDE and Director, IIE and IIE team for backing this vision, and excited for the first cohort of Women Hub Entrepreneurs from the North East.
