International Net Zero Summit | Goa โ Day 1 Highlights
MEPSC, in collaboration with IICSR and Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), successfully inaugurated the International Net Zero Summit (INZS) 2026 on 22nd January 2026 at Taj Vivanta, Panjim, Goa.
The Summit was inaugurated by Mr. Krishna V. Salkar, Chairman โ South Goa Planning & Development Board and MLA, Vasco, Goa, as the Chief Guest. INZS 2026 serves as a flagship global sustainability and climate action platform, convening policymakers, industry leaders, academia and key stakeholders from domestic and international ecosystems to foster deeper engagement in building a robust Net Zero vision for India.
Over the next days (22โ24 January 2026), the Summit will feature high-level academic research papers, plenary sessions, thematic discussions, B2B and B2G interactions, and showcases of innovation and best practices, aimed at strengthening collaborative action, policy alignment and industry-led solutions for Indiaโs transition to a Net Zero economy.
Senior government representatives, industry captains, domain experts and institutional leaders from Central Ministries, State Governments, PSUs, corporates, academic institutions and international organisations are participating, making INZS 2026 a significant milestone in Indiaโs journey towards achieving its Net Zero commitments and the broader vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
