Jay’s phone 📱 rang

Jenny oversaw the caller name
It was “New - Wife”

Jenny was shocked 😳
The culture has changed so fast

Jenny asked him
When did you get a new wife?

He said
How can you be so fool?

It’s not new wife, dear!
It’s a new phone number of my same wife 🤣

Invest more times, in naming your projects. Otherwise, people will name it. 😝

Managing Director (MD) said
This year budget is an admin nightmare for you

HR with due responsibility replied
No! It is not

MD asked
Please clarify!

HR said
At the time of investment declaration
I simply need to ask one more question

Do you want to declare investments?
That’s it

At times, things that look compound are quite simple

I asked Jay for jogging in an open area
Jay asked me, why to go to an open space?

Uneven surface might hurt our knees
Better, lets join a gym.

I responded, jay for jogging do we really need a gym.
While jogging, body needs fresh air.

Air quality is better in an open space
So let’s go to the open area instead.

Nothing is right
Nothing is wrong
If people buy your logic
World will sing your song

BOSS: You are late!
Employee: It is only 8:10 am

BOSS: Work starts at 8:00am. I will have to write you up for this.
Employee: But I am not usually late. I left late plus I was up late finishing a report. Could you just let me off this one time?

BOSS: We can't set this wrong precedent that it's okay to be late.
Employee: Okay then, I am not taking anymore work home from now on. I will arrive on time and leave on time.

Many managers never complain when employees go the extra mile but are quick to point out employees' shortfalls.

You can't buy loyalty, but you can certainly foster and nurture it.

Never Push Loyal Employees to the Point they no longer Care!

It was the year 2017, when I first traveled on a long vacation to home from Qatar.

My sweetheart (Niece-Krishna) was holding two packs of chocolates in her hands.

I asked, Mamun (nick name, I love to call her) with a smile: could you give one of your two chocolates?

She looked up and suddenly wrapped both the chocolates and took a quick bite on both the chocolates.

I felt the smile on my face freeze and tried hard not to reveal my disappointment.

Then, my sweetheart handed one of her bitten chocolates to me and said: Uncle, here you are. This tastes better.

This gives me a lesson to learn: to have always a delayed judgement.

No matter, who you are, what exposures you hold and how much knowledge you carry. Give people the rights to explain themselves. What we see at the first instance may not be the reality.

Yesterday, I went to purchase some food items
I was standing in a long queue to pay the bill’s.

When my turn came
I put my credit card into the POS machine and waited for the OTP to come.

My bad luck I waited for long for the text message to come.
Then the biller asked me to step aside.

I said, I have money
He said, If you can’t use it, it’s of no good.

And the same is true with the talents.

Now there are no joint families
This is how, we are losing our culture

Dev said
It depends upon how we see it

We needed independence
And that is the reason, we formed nuclear families

Then we formed housing societies to enjoy benefits of the joint family.

Today, I was in a situation,
Where, I have searched my wallet thoroughly
There were only 45 Riyals
And, I had to pay 47 Riyals to the QFresh delivery guy

One idea was to negotiate
Second was to ask to adjust next time
Third was to request for waive off

All were old economy ideas
They didn’t work
As platforms can’t empathize

Mom, I lost my debit card.

Mom said
The pain of getting a new card will make you more responsible.

Smita said
You are right, Mom!
I wrote an email to them
They took 24 hrs to issue a new card

Surprised Mom asked
Which bank?

Each generation has its own definition of pain.

I went to the hospital last week
The attendant asked me to step on a weight machine

But, I refused to step on the weight machine
Doctor asked the reason

I said, I reduced 5Kg last month
If I see my weight, I will get into the loop of managing it

Now, I want to enjoy life
Instead of measuring it

At times, it is good to take a break to enjoy your achievements.
