Visited to pay tribute to my wife’s late brother, 2/Lt IK Gupta of 40 Medium regiment who made supreme sacrifice this day in 1965 Indo Pak War in Patti Sector! Went round with her family to bow before various battle murals- शहीदों की चिताओं पर लगेंगे हर बरस मेले, वतन पे मरने वालों का यही बाक़ी निशाँ होगा! And what a निशाँ at this solemn memorial at India Gate! 🙏🌷

-Jaipur- Khazana Mahal, a century old haveli on 10,000 sq meter property, Khazana Mahal, famed jewellary and precious stones.

- Raiyoli- Gujarat- Balasinor Dinosaur Park- A 52 Hectare space

- Joint Replacements- Ahmedabad- Arthroplasty museum- prosthetics made of ceramics, plastics, titaneum alloys, steel etc

-Chennai- Museum of Possibilities- for differently abled!

-Panaji- Goa- India's only museum dedicated to Customs & GST-

-Mandro, Jharkhand, 95 acre, fossil park, 140 mn year old plant fossil

-Alipore- West Bengal- Museum of Independence

-Mumbai- Revolutionaries Gallery-Kranti Grah- dedicated to heroes fought in revolts- from 1857 first war of Independence to 1946 uprising of Royal Indian Navy

A significant omission, however, is the National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai- the home of Bollywood- inaugurated by PM in 2019- tracing the journey from silent cinema- long awaited one there!

Some public spirited Trusts, Foundations, & Entrepreneurs may also like to set up more such Museums, on themes of their choice!

Competition Law is all about choices, increasing and safeguarding choices for consumers, zealously guarding against any attempts to curb or lessen those choices, choices make consumer the king, propel market players-incumbents and new entrants- to give him better choices in terms of prices and quality, innovations and with better technology; and since everybody is a consumer in the value chain, of intermediate goods and services, the net result is increased efficiency in economy, both static and dynamic, on a continuing basis!
Competition Commission of India (CCI) is the statutory agency created to ensure it, with a mandate to oversee it! CCI is country’s market regulator, a guardian of the interests of consumers and also of competition, as well as of new entrants in protecting them from any possible abuses by existing dominant players!
