A picture is worth a thousand words!

We truly believe so. We have ventured into murals as we sensed a deeper understanding of how art can change the narrative of the locals and help maintain a cleaner environment together for generations to come.

Thank you, Gauri. You beautifully executed our theme of 'Reduce, Reuse and Recycle' with all the local elements.

Dharamshala Smart City Limited participated in the GOI's Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from 1st Oct 2021 - 3rd Oct 2021.
Many organizations and hundreds of individuals participated in these celebrations through cultural events, space transformations, clean-ups, a walkathon, a cyclothon, and many more.

Waste Warriors also actively participated in these celebrations.

👍 We took the challenge of doing two space transformations - McLeod Ganj Square and War Memorial.
👍 Our Young Warriors club performed nukkad-nataks in three different parts of the city to spread awareness about waste segregation practices.
👍 We conducted community mobilization activities to convert 75 establishments into Green Establishments.

Let every occasion be an opportunity to 'Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.'🎄

Instead of buying a tree, we decorated our 'plant' like a Christmas tree. We decorated it with cutouts from old invitation cards. We made bells out of old cans. Most importantly, the entire team had fun while decorating this tree.

Thank you Himachal Institute of Engineering and Technology for opening your doors to us.

We had a fabulous day conducting workshop and quiz competitions on their premises. We loved every bit of their energy.

We ended the day with a clean drive in which over 100 students participated and over 120 Kg of waste was picked up.
