To provide opportunity for the small start-ups and Naga entrepreneurs, Native Trends Nagaland (NTN) and Ethnic Trendzanda (ET) would be organizing an event, “Naga Entrepreneurs Conclave (NEC)” from November 17-18 at Urban Haat, Dimapur.

During the event, Naga entrepreneurs would be invited to set up stalls (around 20-25 stalls) to exhibit their locally made products, announced the organizer at the press briefing held at DMC office on Wednesday. Apart from this, there will also be business conclave on start up ideas, banking system, meeting and e-commerce and also fun filled entertainment activities.

The idea behind organizing the conclave was to extend support to the upcoming Naga entrepreneurs, the organizer informed. The event would also showcase the innovative ideas aimed at enhancing traditional marketing by bringing together the existing business and enterprises owned by the Nagas.

“This would be the meeting ground for the entrepreneurs to come together to share their ideas”, informed one of the organizer. “It is also one way of helping our Naga entrepreneurs”, he informed.

Dog shows and Nikon photo workshop would also be conducted at the conclave. For Dimapur based Naga entrepreneurs, registration fee have been fixed at Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 from other districts.

Interested entrepreneurs can register before November 6 and forms would be available at The Garden and World of Titan. DC Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome will grace the opening day of the conclave as match patron.

It may be noted that, Naga entrepreneurs conclave, is basically a meeting of both start-ups and already established firm exclusively for the locals to discuss the problems and promoting each other’s business.
