"Red Paprica" export quality chilli production Pilot Project launching meeting with Chilli farmers at Lingapalem village, Eluru District today in partnership between Lingapalem FED Producer Company Limited (FPO of Chilli Farmers) promoted by Access Development Services (ADS) CBBO and Krishak Mitra Agro Service Private Limited, Nasik, Maharashtra market linkages facilitated by Gramodaya Trust. 100 Chilli farmers attended the meeting. Shri Sanjay Joshi, MD, Krishak Mitra Agros Pvt Ltd, Nasik, Maharashtra attended the meeting along with Sri S***a Rao Garu, Project Manager, ADS, Mr Srinivas Chekuri, Chairman, Gramodaya Trust and Mr Ajay from Krishak Mitra and Sri Prabhakar Rao Garu, Manager, United Genetic Seeds attended. This project of producing "Red Paprica" Export quality Chilli is taken up under Contract Farming model in 50 acres in this season. Success of this Pilot project would lead to upscaling it in the state for the benefit of Chilli farmers who are quite interested to cultivate this variety in this area.
