Up until more than a century ago, you could find women, mostly maintaining the household under which they lived in. Because of their impoverished economic nature, they didn’t have much scope to look for opportunities in life, four walls and neighbouring houses formed their world. Only a sparsely few women were institutionalised or got to have a job of their desire, the rest was left to appease off on their dreams.
But that world has changed, the economy has changed, and people have changed. Today we see an upliftment in the conditions of working women. Having a job builds self-esteem and helps you create a sense of identity, learn new skills, foster new relationships, and improve health and well-being. Nowadays we see women working in industries operating heavy machinery, heading huge corporations, and leading large nations.
In a fast-paced economy, it is a necessity for both men and women to contribute to the household to keep up with the rising cost of living, being an earning member grants women a say in the decision-making matters under the household.
The ability to express one's opinion is one of the basic rights anyone should have whether inside a household or in a community, taking care of your own or your family’s expenses uplifts your dignity and individuality.
What matters most is the society’s realisation that women are the indispensable pillars for the advancement of the economy, changing its prior norms of what a woman should be to what a woman can be. If a woman can transform a house into a home, one can imagine the ways she can transform the world.
We, CX Consulting values the contribution of working women in society and gives utmost priority towards helping non-working women get jobs, that match their skill set and preferences.
