We are looking for an experienced Accountant preferably from the Export Garments/Apparel Industry background. The candidate should have sound knowledge of accounting, taxation, payroll, and compliance related work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day accounting and voucher entries in accounting software.
• Handling Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
• Bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
• Preparation and processing of employee salaries and payroll.
• Deduction and timely deposition of TDS and other statutory liabilities.
• Preparation and filing of GST returns and related reconciliations.
• PF & ESI working, filing, and timely deposit of statutory dues.
• Maintaining proper accounting records, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Coordination with banks regarding banking transactions and documentation.
• Handling export-related accounting entries, foreign remittances, and bank realization documents.
• Preparation of MIS reports, expense statements, and financial summaries for management.
• Vendor account reconciliation and follow-up for outstanding payments.
• Customer account reconciliation and follow-up for receivables.
• Assisting in internal, statutory, GST, and tax audits.
• Maintaining compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
• Any other accounting, finance, and compliance-related work assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements:
• Preferred experience in Export Garments/Apparel Industry.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, payroll, and accounting procedures.
• Knowledge of export documentation and banking procedures will be preferred.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
Qualification:
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
